Out Now - DJ Death

DJ Death Cover ArtKara Square's single “DJ Death,” in its glorious re-mastered form, is now available worldwide! Did you know that I wrote this track on the ukulele? It’s true. And proves all that a ukulele can do. (At least to me!) You can hear the uke best at the beginning of the track… it’s the main riff.  The cover art design is by Joel Frijters from SoundAdvantage and includes Chris’ original DJ Death character.  With Halloween around the corner, blast this creepy, bloodbath of a dance track and get ready to party!

“DJ Death” is available from the following sites (and more):

If you’re a remixer, you can get the vocal stems for “DJ Death” on ccMixter!  Thank you to all of the remixers who have remixed this!  It's so fun to hear what creative things are done to my vocals!

I really hope you find this song entertaining and fun. Halloween is my favorite holiday by far… let’s spread the haunted fun!

"Just Drive" Remix on Mykah's Album Separate Lives

mykahRemixer/producer Mykah included a remix of Team Smile and Nod's song "Just Drive" on his recent album release Separate Lives.  The album is available to steam on SoundCloud.  It is also available as a free download here (as of 9/20/12).  We think the remix of our song is fantastic.  It's dark, creative, gripping, and has an excellent build.  Thank for remixing us, Mykah!

"Just Drive" on Radio Orphans Podcast

radio_orphansEpisode 376 of Radio Orphans Podcast kindly includes "Just Drive."  The podcast features independent music from around the world... and it's really good!  The hosts of the show, Jaw Knee and Finneaus, have a band by the same name- The Radio Orphans.  It's an alt rock band with some experimental electro elements.  You can find them on Facebook here.  They create some cool videos, too.  A big thanks to Radio Orphans Podcast for playing our track and for the kind words!
